Thursday, March 20 spot plays for the #NCAA tournament
FLORIDA -21 1/2 – Lay the points over Albany. The overall #1 seed typically wins this first game big and this one should be no exception. Gators, who are simply too good and well coached, crush the team from upstate New York.
DAYTON +6 over in-state rival Ohio State. Dayton has their typically strong team and enters this tournament playing well. The big angle here is clearly the ‘chip on the shoulder’ as the kids from the smaller, southern Ohio school will want to make a statement. Take the Flyers in an upset over just an OK Buckeye team.
Friday, March 21
PROVIDENCE +4 over North Carolina. The Tar Heels have been very inconsistent this year and they showed their weaknesses in the ACC tournament. The Friars on the other hand come in with one of the best players in the country, Bryce Cotton, and they are brimming with confidence. They win this game outright.
UL-Lafayette +14 can hang with Creighton, who didn’t look very sharp in the loss to Providence in the Big East Finals. Lafayette is a very talented team that covers here.
