Now that we have seen a couple week’s action and what some of these teams have to offer, it is time to give out a few spot plays for week 3. We are 1-1 on the season with our spots plays in the NFL.
DETROIT +10.5
Take the Lions with a big spread against a hated rival that is not clicking yet this year. And the Lions are much improved over the team everyone seems to see each season. Lions have weapons and they can keep it close.
KANSAS CITY +1.5
Ditto on the Chiefs, who are much better than people realize due to major coaching additions during the off season. 49ers aren’t very good and they will lose on the road coming off a tough loss on Monday night.
HOUSTON -2.5
The Texans are a playoff team this year, and Dallas may not be. True the Cowboys are in a must-win situation, but this isn’t the game they would choose to get back on track. Texans torch the Cowboys today.
INDY -6.5
Colts look too good to be true against a hurting Denver Broncos team. Don’t expect them, though, to overlook this opponent on the road.
OAKLAND +4.5
Play the Raiders on the money line, too, as new QB Bruce Gradowski will lead this team to a minor upset. Cardinals look awful so far under Derek Anderson.
