Make no mistake, new Texas Tech Basketball player Kevin Obanor is one of the better transfers to come out of the portal this off-season. His combination of knockdown shooting, rebounding ability, and basketball IQ make him an absolute nightmare matchup for opposing teams. Here are a few of my favorite Obanor stats from last season:
- 46.3% from 3-pt (1st nationally among forwards, minimum 80 attempts)
- 9.6 rebounds per game (28th nationally, same as Kofi Cockburn)
- 88% free-throw shooter (tied for 22nd nationally)
- 18.7 PPG (52nd nationally)
