I’m back for my weekly spin around the offensive line world and there are a few underrated story lines I’m following in the NFL. Before I get into those, it’s important I give a shout out to the work of the Joe Moore Award committee, something I’m proud to be a part of.
The Joe Moore Award honors an entire offensive line unit, not just a single player in college football. Our committee is uniquely qualified to evaluate the position. We have access to the film. We watch the film. We talk daily. We take this award seriously, as do the offensive linemen and coaches in college football. We have just voted and released our three finalists: the Alabama Crimson Tide, Oklahoma Sooners, and Georgia Bulldogs. Congrats to these three deserving units.
At the end of this article, I’ve included a clip of Alabama left tackle Jonah Williams to highlight the award. It’s part of my disrespectful blocks of the week video, so please enjoy!
