Both teams enter this game with solid offensive and defensive sets, but the defense will rule the roost tonight in the National Championship game. In an amazing 9 of the 14 wins that Clemson had this year, their opponent scored 10 points or less. With the exception of the Auburn game, two of the three times Alabama faced a strong defense their offense struggled to score over 20 points (see LSU and Miss. St games).
