Today’s New Year’s Day Citrus Bowl features the Kentucky Wildcats taking on Iowa from the Big Ten (we saw how well the Big 10 performed last night in the BCS game). Iowa’s offense has struggled on many occassions, as illustrated well when they played Michigan and got dominated from start to finish. Iowa couldn’t move the ball at all and struggled mightly to even get first downs. When they have faced good defenses, they have had trouble putting up points.
Kentucky, on the other hand, has been rock solid on both sides of the ball all year long and their offense has improved throughout the season. The offense started putting up more points each and every week, and they come into this game with a lot of confidence. Coach Stoops is one of the most underrated in the country and he will have the winning game plan. Look for UK to stifle Iowa and win this prestigious bowl game. Lay the 3 points.
